Webinar on our research at Harvard/ McLean's Neuroregeneration Institute

The Pruszak laboratory has an internationally recognized track record in the characterization of the neural lineage according to CD surface antigens. Please check out the recent presentation by Jan as part of Harvard/ McLean's Neuroregeneration Institute Webinar Series youtu.be/DP_Ra2GpIU0 on surface molecular signatures of neural cell populations, related to the study by Vishal Menon et al.: doi.org/10.1002/stem.3057.

Cell state-, developmental stage-, and lineage-specific combinatorial expression of cluster of differentiation (CD) molecules enables the identification of cellular subsets via multicolor flow cytometry. Being part of Harvard / McLean's Neuroregeneration Institute Webinar Series, this presentation provides an overview of our research into the expression patterns and function of surface antigens in the neural lineage. Focusing on the work of Vishal Menon, a former graduate student in the lab (now a postdoctoral fellow at Cambridge University) and his coauthors, this research provides a comprehensive characterization of neural cell types by surface antigens in human pluripotent stem cell-derived neural cell systems and exemplifies its utility for isolation and quality control of biomedically relevant cell preparations.
